Student Travel

MTU Kerry Campus is well served by a range of relatively inexpensive rail and bus services. Special provision is made at weekends with coaches covering many routes not serviced by bus and rail services. Through the Student's Union Office, students can avail of a range of national and international student travel concessions. To avail of student concession rates for national bus and rail services, students can obtain Student Travel Card by completing the necessary forms available in the Students Union. Students will find that the wide choice of bus and rail transport make Tralee accessible from all parts of Ireland. First year students, especially, should familiarise themselves with public and private transport schedules, which are published in the Institute, and at the local Bus Station and Train Station.

USIT Office
USIT operate an office in the North Campus from September to March of each year. Office opening hours are from 11am to 3pm. Students can avail of Student Travel Cards (for travelling abroad), information and booking of J1 Visas (summer work visa - USA) and flights queries, info and bookings.
