RCSI are advising all IMCP/IPCP students to arrive on:

• Thursday 30th  September
• Friday 1st  October
• Saturday 2nd  October
• Sunday 3rd  October

On entering the arrival hall you will be met by an RCSI travel representative and transported to your accommodation in Tralee.

The service is available to all IMCP/IPCP students and we recommend that you take advantage of this service to make your arrival as easy as possible.

RCSI Travel will manage this service and advance booking will be required. An online booking form will be sent to you by email in September for your arrival.

MTU Kerry Campus is split has a North and South Campus, You will have classes predominantly in the North Campus.

• The MTU Kerry Campus North Campus (Business, Tourism, Computing, Nursing and Creative Media Departments) is about 2 km from the town centre (http://tinyurl.com/2e6ezqw)
• The MTU Kerry Campus South Campus (Engineering and Science Departments) is situated about 1 km from the town centre (http://tinyurl.com/39fb95s)

There is a shuttle bus service that runs between the campuses, operated by Kennedy coaches. View Timetable

Do I need a visa to fly into Ireland as a Non-EU citizen?

• Most students who are not citizens of an EU country will need to apply for a study visa to enter Ireland to study on the IMCP/IPCP. Those students who have indicated that their country of citizenship is not an EU country will have been sent a letter of offer from RCSI which will allow them to start the application process for an Irish study visa.
• More information on the study visa, including how to apply is available on the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service website.
• Please ensure you read the information on the website carefully before completing your application.
• The processing time for Irish visas can be up to 8 weeks.
• If you experience any delays with your visa application, please let us know immediately at imcpkerry@mtu.ie or tracy@casteleducation.com and we will endeavour to resolve the issue for you.
• It is advisable to apply for your study visa as soon as your receive your RCSI offer letter, to avoid any visa processing delays.
• Late arrival due to a delay in visa processing is not the responsibility of RCSI or IT Tralee. Arriving late can also result in a student falling behind with their studies.
